San Diego Chargers Football – Nov 22, 2015

The NFL announced today that the Week 11 showdown between the Chargers and Chiefs on Nov. 22 has been flexed to 1:05 PM PST. Although the game will no longer be in primetime, it’s a match Chargers fans will have circled for good reason.
In addition to an always fun to watch AFC West clash, the Bolts will honor LaDainian Tomlinson by making him an official member of the team’s Ring of Honor and have his number 21 raised to the rafters at halftime.

Flexible Scheduling Procedures

The NFL uses “flexible scheduling” on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. For each flexible scheduling week with the exception of Week 17, the NFL announces the start times of games on Sundays no later than 12 days prior to that weekend. To ensure a Sunday night game and doubleheader games with playoff implications in Week 17, flexible scheduling decisions for that Sunday can be made on six days notice.

Staff Assembly has secured a block of tickets at the group rate for the San Diego Chargers.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!! – Due to technical difficulties, UCI staff who purchase(d) tickets–and who would like to be entered into a random drawing to win (1) game ball signed by Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers–are asked to email photos of their tickets to Joani Harrington. Photos must be received by November 20 to be included in the random drawing held on November 23. Congratulations to Shaman Marshall from UCI Neuro Science ICU/Inpatient Nursing Services who won the signed football! Thanks to everyone who went to the game!
