- Competition for the “Most SoCal” department display
- “Most SoCal and SoCool” staff member
- SoCoolest Water Balloon Toss
- SoCal 3-legged Race
All UCI Career Staff will automatically be included in a paperless random drawing for the traditional Staff Picnic door prizes! Winners will be notified via email after the picnic. (Pre-registration not required for UCI Career Staff to attend the picnic.)

Food is complimentary for UCI Career Staff – one serving per person, please.
The picnic strives to be a Zero Waste event so we encourage everyone to bring their own reusable plates, utensils, and beverage containers. Water fill-up stations and a supply of recyclable plates, utensils, etc. will be available.
CHAIR/TABLE RENTALS
To reserve table and chairs for your department, please email Sarah Prom with the following information by Friday, August 12th:

- # Tables & # Chairs
- Department Recharge #
Tables are $10 each and chairs are $1 each. Please note that space in the park is on a first come, first served basis. In keeping with the open and friendly environment of the picnic, we ask that departments refrain from “roping off” sections of the park. It is OK to bring your own shade in the form of pop-up canopies.
SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION
From UCI Medical Center in Orange: Transportation from UC Irvine Manchester Pavilion (parking lot) at 200 Manchester Ave, Orange, CA 92868 with departure time of 11am to Aldrich Loop/Flag Poles and departure time of 1:20pm back to UC Irvine Manchester Pavilion.
Please note that buses will depart on time. If you are not on the bus at the designated time, please arrange for other transportation.

From University Research Park: Transportation from #110 Theory to Aldrich Loop/Flag Poles and back. Shuttle will run every 20 min, back and forth, with first pickup at 11:40am and last pickup at 1:50pm.
