Attendees will learn how to prevent identity theft and fraud, what to do if they are victimized, and common current scams. Presented by John Palmer, CFE, Manager at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union – Fraud Management.

About John Palmer

John Palmer is a manager at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union where he oversees fraud detection and investigation. Prior to this role, he was director of elder financial exploitation fraud investigations at one of the five largest banks. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from California State University, Fullerton. John has served various roles in industry groups such as the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Chief Special Agent’s Association and the Orange County Financial Crime Investigator’s Association
