Nominations for 2023-2024 Council Elections

This is your chance to get involved and make a difference at UCI by becoming part of an organization committed to enhancing our campus climate and advocating on behalf of staff. Take advantage of this opportunity to meet new colleagues and have fun, while gaining valuable leadership experience.

As a Staff Assembly Council member, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore and address issues of common interest and concern to staff
  • Interact directly with UCI administrators
  • Strengthen community spirit at UCI
  • Meet and interact with staff from other areas of UCI
  • Learn new skills in a supportive environment of your peers

  • Vice Chair
  • Finance Chair Elect
  • Council Communications and Special Programs Chair Elect

Nomination Deadline: May 22, 2023

Any staff member who has completed probation or is otherwise considered to be a regular status career employee and is not exclusively represented is eligible to run for an office on the UCI Staff Assembly Council. All positions provide administrative and organizational leadership to Staff Assembly and are equal voting members of the Council.

If you are interested in running for one of the positions listed above, or know someone whom you would like to nominate, submit the Nomination Survey no later than May 22, 2023. All nominees will be contacted and required to approve their nomination to be included in the election.

If you are interested in getting involved with Staff Assembly, but are not quite ready to run for one of the elected Staff Assembly positions, we invite you to become a volunteer on any of our standing Staff Assembly committees.
