- June 2 – Nominations open
- June 20 – Deadline to submit a nomination for elections
- July 23 to July 11 – Voting period opens. To cast a vote, use the link via email.
- August 2025 – The newly elected council will be announced in the August issue of the Staff Assembly Newsletter.
This is your opportunity to get involved and make a difference at UC Irvine by becoming part of an organization that is committed to enhancing our campus climate and advocating on behalf of staff. As a Staff Assembly Council member, you will have the opportunity to:
- Explore and address issues of common interest and concern to staff
- Interact directly with UC Irvine administrators
- Strengthen community spirit at UC Irvine
- Meet and interact with staff from other areas of UC Irvine
- Learn new skills in a supportive environment of your peers

- Vice Chair
- 3-year term (Vice Chair, Chair, Immediate Past Chair)
- Finance Chair Elect
- 2-year term (Finance Chair Elect, Finance Chair)
- Council Communications and Special Programs Chair Elect
- 2-year term (Communications and Special Programs Chair Elect, Communications and Special Programs Chair)
- Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) First-Year Delegate
- 2-year term (1st Year Delegate, 2nd Year Delegate)
Staff Assembly Elected Administrative Officers Job Descriptions
Eligibility
Any staff member who has completed probation or is otherwise considered to be a regular status career employee and is not exclusively represented is eligible to run for an office on the UC Irvine Staff Assembly Council. All positions provide administrative and organizational leadership to Staff Assembly and are equal voting members of the Council.
